My experience in Latin American Women in Technologies – Latinity

On august 24 and 25,  I was in Latinity conference  (Latin American Women in Technologies) I was awarded with an scholarship, this activity was celebrated in the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana at Bogota, Colombia ??. This experience have been one of the most beautiful and important things of my life. I had the opportunity to meet a lot of wonderful people around Latinamerica, fighting women with great abilities and knowledge.


My talk: Hello Xamarin! Creating our first mobile application

I was giving a talk about Xamarin named “Hello Xamarin! Creating our first mobile application”. This talk was a wonderful experience because I shared my Xamarin knowledge with other people and proud because I inspired others to learn about Xamarin.


Investigadoras Nacientes: Challenges of Inclusive Technological Career’s

Beside this talk, I also participated in a panel named “Investigadoras Nacientes: Challenges of Inclusive Technological Career’s” with my friends: Julissa Mateo (Mujeres Tics Dominican Republic Lead), Crisly Gonzalez (Ada community lead from Tic-as –  Costa Rica), Elka Gonzalez (Ada- Limón community lead from Tic-as – Costa Rica ), Sarah Uriarte (Ada- Limón community lead from Tic-as – Costa Rica ), we where speaking about how difficult its to find a technical position for a woman in the technology world in our countries, what about our experiences, the challenges that as women we have in the area, about our achievements and which  are our recommendations for the women to stay in the world of technology and what they need to start.
